Maharashtra Elections: Rebels Increased Tension Between Mahayuti and MVA, Political Equations Changed Due to Increased Conflict in Many Seats – Maharashtra Elections Rebels Increased Tension Between Mahayuti and MVA Political Equations Changed Due to Increased Conflict in Many Seats ntc seats

As the date of assembly elections in Maharashtra approaches, the political temperature is rising. In fact, the process of withdrawal of candidatures for the assembly elections ended today (November 4). In addition to this, some rebels have come forward openly, while other people have withdrawn their names.

Congress candidate Madhurima Raje Chhatrapati withdrew her name from the Kolhapur North seat, while the BJP managed to convince Gopal Shetty from Borivali, Mumbai. However, the headache is not over for Mahayuti as Shiv Sena candidate from Mumbai’s Mahim assembly constituency Dada Saravankar has refused to withdraw his name despite pressure from the party leadership . He faces Amit Thackeray, son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, who has the support of Mahayuti’s ruling BJP constituencies, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP.

In Kolhapur, Satej Patil expressed disappointment over Madhurima Raje Chhatrapati’s exit from the elections as the Congress is no longer represented in one of its strongholds in western Maharashtra. This setback came when the Congress changed its previous candidate from this seat, former councilor Rajesh Latkar, and gave ticket to Madhurima. Madhurima Raje Chhatrapati is the daughter-in-law of Kolhapur Lok Sabha MP and member of the Shahu Chhatrapati royal family.

In Mahavikas Aghadi, Kamal Vyahare from Kasba seat has shown a rebellious stance and has not withdrawn his nomination, while from Erandol seat, Nanabhau Mahajan from Uddhav group has taken a rebellious stance. Because Satish Patil of Uddhav group is contesting from this seat, while Nanabhau is also contesting from this seat. At the same time, in Mahayuti, the BJP has fielded Sulabha Gaikwad from Kalyan East, while Mahesh Gaikwad from the Shinde faction is also contesting from the same seat.
