If at the time of marriage the age of the boy is less than 21 years and the age of the girl is less than 18 years, please inform the administration and cooperate with the administration to stop the marriage.
Ms. Sharma said that anyone who arranges, encourages or assists in child marriage can be punished with imprisonment of up to two years and a fine of up to Rs 1 lakh. He said that due to childhood, boys and girls cannot take the responsibility of marriage and if marriage happens before the stipulated time, their physical and mental development is also hampered.
