(Mahendragarh News) Mahendragarh. Annakoot Mahotsav was celebrated with great joy and devotion at Shri Vishnu Bhagwan Temple located on Vishnu Colony Railway Road. Thousands of devotees participated in this religious event and brought Annakoot Prasad along with special worship to Lord Govardhan.

On this special occasion, Lord Govardhan was worshiped in the temple, so the women made an idol of Lord Govardhan out of cow dung and worshiped him. The Annakoot Prasad prepared on the temple premises included a variety of foods like moong, rice, kadhi, millets, vegetables, etc. This Prasad was distributed among the devotees, so a glimpse of happiness was visible on the faces of all the devotees. The temple committee and local people provided a lot of support for the success of this festival. Highlighting the importance of Annakoot Prasad, temple head Manohar Lal Jhukia said that this Prasad is important not only from the religious point of view but also for uniting the society and for health.
