- State government takes child safety seriously
(Mahendragarh News) Narnaul. Haryana State Child Protection Commission members Suman Rana and Ganesh Kumar carried out a surprise inspection of schools in Mahendragarh and Kanina blocks last day. Officials from the local regional transport department and the district traffic police team were also present on this occasion.
Two school buses were sanctioned for not complying with the rules and one bus was impounded
Haryana State Child Protection Commission members Suman Rana and Ganesh Kumar visited schools and inspected vehicle documents. During the inspection, when deficiencies were found in the documents of two school buses, they were reprimanded and instructed to impound one bus. Mrs. Rana said the safety of children will not be compromised. The purpose of the commission is not only to issue challans but to keep schools updated.
Ganesh Kumar, member of the commission, said officials should be completely alert in this matter. The state government takes the safety of children very seriously. To ensure that the school bus accident that occurred in Kanina does not happen again, it is necessary to continuously monitor school buses on the ground. On this occasion, member Ganesh Kumar said that all schools will have to implement 28 standards of Haryana Safe School Vehicle Policy. He said the commission’s main objective is to provide a safe environment for children. The Commission takes this matter very seriously. He asked all school managements to strictly follow the norms issued by the government keeping the environment in mind. On this occasion, members of the District Child Welfare Committee and the team of the District Child Protection Unit were also present along with the members of the Commission.
