Monthly Shivratri 2024: The monthly Shivratri fast is observed on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of every month. On this day Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are ritually worshipped. In religious beliefs, the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha has been described as the date of Lord Shiva. There is a tradition of worshiping Lord Shankar on the Chaturdashi day of Krishna Paksha. On this day, by offering Bel leaves, flowers, incense sticks, lamps and offerings to Bholenath and chanting Shiva mantras, the desired results are obtained. According to the Panchag, the Chaturdashi Tithi month of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha will begin at 8.39 am on November 29, 2024. Chaturdashi Tithi will end on November 30 at 10:29 am In such a situation, the monthly Shivratri fast will be observed on November 29, 2024.
Chant these mantras of Lord Shiva on the day of monthly Shivratri.
