Jhansi: A massive fire has broken out at the Medical College in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. According to information, the fire broke out in the children’s ward of Jhansi Medical College. 10 children have died from burns in the fire. While the condition of five children is said to be critical. There is a big commotion due to the fire in the children’s room. Children and patients are taken out by breaking the hospital windows. Firefighters are trying to extinguish the fire.
CM Yogi expressed regret
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the Jhansi fire incident. CM Yogi has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased children. Chief Minister Yogi has directed officials to immediately reach the spot and expedite relief work. CM Yogi has given instructions for proper treatment of the injured.
Reasons for the fire not revealed
This fire is said to have occurred late Friday night. The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed. The administration is also present on site. Many patients are said to have been rescued from the hospital. The injured will be transferred to another hospital. Other patients are also being taken from there.
Firefighting work continues
