PM Modi Guyana Visit Update, (Aaj Samaj), Georgetown: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the South American country of Guyana today on the last leg of his three-nation tour and received a warm welcome here in the morning. Many Guyanese, including Indians, were desperate to see him. Meanwhile, the mayor of the capital Georgetown handed over the “keys to the city of Georgetown” to Prime Minister Modi as proof of the close relations between India and Guyana.
Prime Minister to remain in Guyana until November 21
We tell you that Modi visited this country at the invitation of the President of Guyana, Mohammad Irfan Ali. At the Georgetown airport, Modi received a warm welcome from his Guyanese counterpart, Mark Anthony Phillips, and other government ministers. Modi will remain in Guyana until November 21.

After arriving in Guyana, Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform ‘X’: Thanks to President Irfan Ali, Prime Minister Anthony Phillips and other Ministers of the Government of Guyana for the warm welcome at the airport. He said: “I am confident that my visit to Guyana will further strengthen the friendship between India and Guyana.”
