◆ Order given to chief engineer to resolve the issue soon
Ayodhya. Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi inspected Maniram Das ji cantonment and Ashok Singhal ward. Residents of the district had complained to the mayor about waterlogging and spillage of water from the sewer line on the road due to the sewer line not flowing smoothly in the district. In which the mayor along with the Jal Nigam team inspected both the wards.
During the inspection, executive engineer Jal Nigam said that the construction work of CC road and drainage was completed three to four months ago. In which construction waste was left in the sewer line by the contractor. Due to which the flow in the sewer line is not smooth. To resolve the issue, the mayor has ordered the Municipal Corporation of Chief Engineers to conduct an on-site inspection and clean the sewer line while upgrading the newly constructed road.
The mayor said residents in two districts had reported the problem of waterlogging and overflowing sewage pipes. In which the on-site inspection of the room was carried out. The executive engineer was ordered to resolve the issue quickly. The Municipal Corporation is determined to make the metropolitan area clean and beautiful. Councilor Ankit Tripathi, Rishu Pandey, Jal Nigam officials and local citizens were present during the inspection.
