The vandalism of the block chief’s husband and his henchmen has openly come to light at the Fatehpur toll plaza in the Mirzapur Adalhat police station area of ​​Uttar Pradesh. When the toll employees asked for toll from people traveling in Scorpio and Fortuner, they said goodbye. This incident occurred on Wednesday night. The drivers of the Scorpio and Fortuner cars wanted to pass the vehicle without paying the toll, when they were stopped by the toll employees, they first tried to remove the barrier. When the toll employees protested, they pulled rifles and pistols from the vehicle and began shooting several times.

During this time there was chaos at the toll plaza. The employees began running for their lives. The incident was reported by Ramzan Abdullah Patel, Deputy Managing Director, ACP Tollways Private Limited, Fatehpur, at Adalhat Police Station. According to the complaint, two cars, Scorpio Fortuners, arrived from Sonbhadra side at Fatehpur toll plaza around 1 pm on Wednesday, carrying 8 to 9 people. When the toll worker asked for the toll tax, both drivers started abusing and removing the barrier at the toll. When the employees protested, he threatened to kill them and fired 4 to 5 shots from a pistol and rifle. After this he left without paying toll.

Case registered against 9 people

Following the complaint of the deputy general manager of ACP Tollways, the Adalhat police have registered a case against seven identified and one or two unidentified persons and launched an investigation. Rajan Singh, husband of Baby Singh, chief of Babhni block of Sonbhadra, was said to have been going from Sonbhadra towards Banaras in a Scorpio and Fortuner car. Between 8 and 9 people were traveling in it. When they reached the toll they wanted to pass without paying the toll. When the toll plaza employees were spoken to about this matter, they said that the Adalhat police had taken away the CCTV.

The police are dedicated to investigating the case.

After this, when Adalhat police requested CCTV footage, they refused to provide it. In this regard, police station in-charge Amit Kumar Mishra said that based on the complaint, a case has been registered against the people traveling in Scorpio and Fortuner. Additional Superintendent of Police OP Singh and CO Manjari Rao have inspected the incident site. The entire matter is still being investigated.
