How many votes did the MNS get?
Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had fielded 125 candidates in the Maharashtra Assembly elections and not even one of them could win the elections. Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray also lost the election from the Mahim seat. According to the electoral commission, the MNS only received 1.55 percent of the votes in the elections.
Who got how many seats?
In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mahayuti’s BJP won 132 seats, the NCP 41 and the Shiv Sena 57 seats (total 230). At the same time, Mahavikas Aghadi’s Shiv Sena (UBT) won 20 seats, Congress 16 and NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) 10 (46 in total). The remaining 12 seats were won by other parties or independents.
