Second Place in All India Merit Technical Entry Program of Indian Army

Three more cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute made it to the merit list.

Mohali News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Karman Singh Talwar of Mohali has secured the second position in the All India Technical Entry Scheme (TES)-52 Merit List of the Indian Army. This merit list was released on Thursday evening by the Army Headquarters located in New Delhi. Apart from Karman Singh Talwar, three other cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (MRSFPI) SAS Nagar have also secured a place in this merit list.

In this merit list, Manas Taneja got 22nd rank, Aniket Sharma got 31st rank and Suryavardhan Singh got 37th rank. Karman Singh Talwar is the son of Jatinder Pal Singh Talwar, Additional Managing Director of Indian Bank, and Professor Ravjit Kaur Talwar, residents of SAS Nagar (Mohali). Notably, Karman Singh had also secured a place in the NDA-153 merit list.

Cabinet Minister congratulated

Congratulating the cadets on their achievements, Punjab Minister for Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Aman Arora said it is a matter of pride as it reflects the special efforts of these youth to become future officers of the Indian Defense Forces. The Cabinet Minister also wished the cadets all the best for a bright future. Major General Ajay H. Chauhan, VSM, Director of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, also congratulated the cadets and inspired them to bring glory to Punjab and the country. He said the institute is committed to training cadets for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) in addition to the NDA.
