Panda riots in Shajapur
There are strict restrictions on animal disturbance in Madhya Pradesh. Despite this, cases of fights between animals and birds do not stop in various areas. The latest case is from Shajapur. Here, a scaffolding riot continued for 4 hours right under the administration’s nose. During this, the organizers made many animals fight. This fight even reached a critical stage many times. However, volunteers deployed by the organizers with sticks took control of the situation. More than 3 thousand people came to witness this riot, but the police say they have no information about it.
The matter is of Shujalpur’s Banjipura Pathrauri land. According to local people, as per tradition, the Panda Dangal was organized at this place on Sunday afternoon. This type of event happens here every year. Despite the ban on animal fighting a few years ago, this has been reduced slightly. Despite this, these types of events are still organized in many places and a large number of people come to see them. More than 3,000 people were present in this riot organized in Pathrauri of Shujalpur.
A mutiny is organized to test one’s strength.
Here at the venue, the organizers first performed a ritual worship of the animals that would be brought to light in the dance. After this, they were sent away one by one. According to local people, this event is organized to test the strength of the scaffolding. The rule of this dance is that the fight between two teams continues until the weaker team runs off the field. During this, the winning panda also chases the escaping panda, but the volunteers present on the field surround him and stop him.
The police said: We have no information.
It was fortunate that no untoward incident occurred in this four-hour scaffolding battle. It is said that last year the animals were lost in this panda riot. Some people were also injured at that time. This time no such incident has occurred. When the city police station in-charge Praveen Pathak was asked about this development, he said that there cannot be a scaffolding riot anywhere in the state. He said he had no knowledge of this riot. Rather, he avoided the question by saying that he was busy resolving CM Helpline complaints.
