In Patna, capital of Bihar, Maitri Singh of ADM (Agrarian Reform) appears to be caught in a land scam. After accusations were made against her, she was transferred on October 22 last month and disappeared along with related files. According to information, Maitri Singh, who was DCLR i.e. ADM (Land Reform) of Patna Sadar, was accused of huge irregularities in submitting land rejection applications. He was subsequently transferred on October 22. Even after this, it deleted around 255 files on previous date. Not only this, while going through the transfer, he also carried government documents with him.

It is alleged that Maitri Singh has issued retrospective orders on files on a large scale and with malicious intentions and has kept all these files. Of them, 28 files were returned to the office by an unknown person on November 14 and 15. After the matter came to light, now the Patna DM has ordered an inquiry into the matter. According to the capital’s SDM Sadar, this investigation has revealed that 451 files and 36 land dispute records are still missing.
DM wrote letter asking for action against ADM
Now, on this matter, the DM has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Revenue and Land Reforms. In this sense, he recommended measures against ADM. According to the information received, Maitri Singh had joined the post only eight months ago. He currently works as a Special Service Officer in the University Services Commission.
