The Mumbai Police will analyze the audio clip of the conversation between Anmol, the brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, and the gunman who opened fire outside actor Salman Khan’s house. So that his involvement in the Baba Siddiqui murder case can be confirmed.
Accepting the police statement, the MCOCA special court has directed the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory to provide the audio clip of the call between Anmol Bishnoi and shooter Vicky Gupta, arrested in the dismissal case.
On the morning of April 14 this year, there was a shooting at Galaxy Apartment, the home of superstar Salman Khan. Gangster Lawrence and Anmol Bishnoi are the accused wanted for this incident.
According to PTI, the police had appeared before Magistrate BD Shelke of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) and said that they needed the electronic copy of that conversation to ascertain Anmol Bishnoi’s involvement in the murder of the NCP leader, Baba Siddiqui. .
On October 12, NCP leader Baba Siddiqui (66) was shot dead by three gunmen near the office of his MLA son Zeeshan in Bandra. So far the police have arrested 16 people in this case.
The prosecution told the court that the shooter Vikas Gupta was in contact with Anmol Bishnoi through the ‘Signal app’. It was claimed that accused Vikas had sent an audio clip of the conversation to his brother Sonu Kumar Gupta.
In which the police are said to have confiscated Sonukumar’s mobile phone, which had the recording of the audio clip, and sent it to the Directorate of Forensic Science Laboratory (DFSL) for investigation.
The prosecution said DFSL extracted and analyzed the mobile phone data and retained an electronic copy of the clip, and urged the court to order the laboratory to provide the electronic copy of the conversation on a pen drive.
