This was the entire incident.
On the day of the incident i.e. March 29, 2022, Bari MLA Girraj Malinga had attacked Valmiki. According to Harshadhipati Valmiki, he was holding a meeting with some of his senior officers that day, when the MLA along with others entered his cabin. Nobody said anything and the MLA picked up a chair that was there and threw it directly at his face. Girraj Malinga also said that you have so much courage that you will cut off the connections of Thakurs’ people? In addition to this, the MLA’s men started beating the engineering assistant with sticks, bats, rods and anything else they could find.
According to AE Valmiki of the Electrical Department, the attackers broke every bone in his body and beat him as much as they could. And then they left him to die and fled from there. All the people who were present in AE’s room at that time fled for their lives. Harshadhipati had made this statement at a time when he had spent 580 days undergoing treatment at Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh Hospital.
Valmiki said in the complaint that he had not created any obstruction in the work of the government, but the MLA and his supporters were already angry with him and in that anger he was attacked. Valmiki suffered serious injuries in this attack. After the incident, based on his statement and complaint, the police opened a case against MLA Malinga and other accused.
investigation and charges sheet
After the incident, the case was handed over to the CID-CB for investigation, but the investigation continued to progress slowly.
