Here BJP has given a ticket to Harish Pimple, while NCP SP has given a ticket to Samrat Dongardive. An astonishing political battle has been witnessed between the two. BJP’s Harish Pimple, who has won elections three times in a row, is a well-known name in the BJP. The residents of Murtijapur recorded their decision in the EVM machines on November 20 itself. Today the results of the assembly elections are known, in which the counting of votes will begin shortly and the first trends will also begin to emerge. Stay tuned to this link for the latest updates on the results.

The Murtijapur seat has been with the Congress for a long time. Congress has been in control here for 38 years. The Congress victory bandwagon came to a halt in 1990 when an independent candidate defeated the Congress candidate. Subsequently, Congress had to wait till 2004 to win. However, after 2004, the Congress was again rejected by the people here and in the last three elections, BHP’s Harish Pimple has been winning here.

What happened in the last elections?

In the 2019 Assembly elections, BJP fielded Harish Pimple for the third time from Murtijapur Assembly. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi walked Avachar Pratibha Prabhakar. NCP’s Ravikumar Rathi also joined the electoral fray. While the public gave 59527 votes to Harish Pimple, VBA Pratibha got 57617 votes. NCP’s Ravi Kumar Rathi got 41,155 votes.
