People have suffered property losses worth thousands of rupees in this accident.

The townspeople somehow controlled the fire. People said that the fire team was informed but could not arrive on time. So the houses were reduced to ashes. In this incident, the houses of many people, including Jian Sahni, Ramchandra Sahni and Bijli Sahni, residents of ward number two, were burnt to ashes. Properties worth thousands of rupees were burnt, including food grains and clothes kept in the house.

The accident occurred due to a short circuit.

Regarding the incident, Katra police station in-charge Abhishek said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit. In which more than a dozen and a half houses were reduced to ashes. The villagers had informed the fire brigade team, but the team was delayed in arriving. So the fire became enormous in a short time. He said it is a relief that there is no information about any victims in this incident. Following the information, the police team reached the spot. He said information about the incident was handed over to the Circle Officer.
