Naam review: Ajay Devgan’s 20-year-old film is better than ‘Singham Again’, here’s the proof

Ajay Devgan’s ‘Naam’ Review

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Singham Again’ is currently in theatres. Along with this, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is also underway. Its director is Anees Bazmee. There was a lot of talk about the clash of both films. Now Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Naam’, directed by Anees Bazmee, has hit the theatres. Isn’t that kind of funny? Another interesting thing is that the film was pending for 20 years. Now it has finally been brought. For now let’s move on to the good and bad things about our ‘name’.

This is Anees Bazmee’s film from the time when he was making killer thrillers like Deewangi. However, when I later learned that it was a remake, I was very sad. What I want to say is that Anees used to make good films back then. What name is among them? Let’s say it.

Is this Amar or Michael?

This is the story of professional killer Amar Kumar alias Michael. Loses his memory in an accident. As he goes back down memory lane, things get worse. It means you have a new life after memory loss. He has gotten married. He has a daughter. He is a great businessman. But he is not aware of his past. Some people are determined to kill Michael. It means the police are after him too. Criminals are also after him. Amar has no idea why this is happening to him!

‘Name’ defeats you in this place

Since the making of this movie started in 2004. In such a situation, it cannot compete with current movies. You can’t see through new glasses. I’ll just have to look through old glasses. The movie is okay in terms of story. The script is good too. The execution is not very good. But according to 2004-06, this is a good movie. Now this liberation occurs after twenty years, this is their misfortune. Maybe if it had been released at that time it would have had a decent audience.

the climax is too long

There is a lot of falsehood in the ‘name’. It looks like fake blood. Many dialogues are very cliché. Since I won’t let you die, nothing can happen to you. But you don’t get bored looking at the image. Something new keeps happening constantly. The film has a fast pace. Yes, his speed decreases towards the end. It seems that the climax has been prolonged. A twenty-minute climax can be completed in just five minutes.

Ajay Devgan and his old style

Watching Ajay Devgan in the film, Ajay from ‘Gangajal’ comes to mind. The only difference is that here he was a criminal and in Gangajal he was a policeman. Although he is not a criminal here either, the rest of you are sensible. I won’t give spoilers. It’s fun to see Ajay Devgan in the old style. The same goes for walking with a crooked neck. I swear, when he shoots in such a lethal manner, I feel happy. Apart from this, actors like Rajpal Yadav and Vijay Raj are also part of the film. Rajpal Yadav has the same ‘Dhol’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’ type character. The poor people get into unnecessary trouble, they continue to get beaten, but the fun is total. Bhumika Chawla reminds me of ‘Tere Naam’. Seeing their teary eyes one feels sorry for them. Rahul Dev is in the film. If you have seen Sunny Deol’s ‘Champion’, then Rahul is here in a similar avatar. Actors like Yashpal Sharma and Sameera Reddy are also starring in the film. In general, the actors have lived up to the acting expectations. The performance of many people is also artificial. But it’s not his fault, it’s the director’s.

The songs are like meteorites!

Anees Bazmee has done as well as he thinks he does. It’s just that it has a little more of a ’90s vibe to it. Many things are inappropriate in the film, such as its songs. They are songs without any meaning. Suddenly any song starts playing. Like everything is fine on Earth and suddenly a meteorite arrives and wreaks havoc. There are many romantic songs in the thriller film. In a good atmosphere, emotion is mixed, some meaningless song plays. I mean, the songs are okay, but they don’t fit the situation. There are two romantic angles with Ajay Devgan, which seem unnecessary. However, listening to Udit Narayan brings back old memories. The songs of the film have been written by Sameer. The music is by Sajid Wajid and Himesh Reshammiya.

There are many flaws in the name. But a photograph taken twenty years ago can be given the same benefit of the doubt. If you want to see old Ajay Devgan. You also want to enjoy a little excitement. He likes Rajpal Yadav’s comedy. Then you can see this image. But don’t go in with too many expectations. But there will be many twists in the film. I must say this, this picture is better than ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. If both films are tolerated, only ‘Naam’ will be enjoyed.
