Nana Patole won the election by only 208 votes

While Brahmankar got 96587 votes. Independent candidate Dr Somdutt Karanjekar got 18,309 votes. Dr Avinash Nanhe from Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi got 11188 votes. In 2019, Nana Patole won the Sakoli seat by a margin of about 8,000 votes.

Congress stalwarts also lost the elections.

This time, eight-time MLA and Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat lost the elections. He had contested from the Sangamner seat. He was defeated by Shiv Sena’s Amol Khatal by 10,560 votes. Former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan also lost the elections. He was contesting from South Karad seat.

However, the opposition has accused the BJP of manipulating EVMs to achieve results in the state. Many opposition leaders, including former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, expressed surprise at the results and said it was surprising to see the NDA win in Maharashtra despite not focusing on any important issue.
