During the Diwali festival, sticks and stones were used in Faridabad, Haryana. Police reported on Friday that some people attacked a family bursting crackers on Diwali with sticks and stones. The incident took place on Thursday in Ballabhgarh city. He said the victim’s family also alleged that the accused’s relatives from another community allegedly broke the door of their house in Subhash Colony and sexually assaulted one of them.
According to the police, some children were setting off firecrackers in the area, to which some people protested and even threatened the children.
Citing the complaint, a police spokesperson said that when some women from the children’s family went to the accused’s house, they were allegedly attacked with sticks, bricks and stones. Police said that after this the attackers broke the main door of the complainant’s house and sexually assaulted a girl of the family. CCTV footage of the alleged incident has been recovered. The spokesperson said the police have registered the case and started investigating the matter.
Let us tell you, this is not an isolated incident during the festival. This festival of happiness turned into mourning for the Sarvaiya family in Rajkot, Gujarat. In fact, after 3 pm on Thursday, the clash over bursting of firecrackers at Sarveshwar Chowk on Yagnik Road in Rajkot took a bloody turn. In which Amandeep alias Bali, the operator of Rajkot’s Punjabi Dhaba, attacked Karthik Sarvaiya, Ketan Vora and Prakash Sarvaiya with a sharp weapon. A young man named Karthik Sarvaiya was killed in this attack. While Prakash Sarvaiya and Ketan Vora were injured, they were admitted to Rajkot Civil Hospital for treatment.
The injured friends said that both groups were bursting firecrackers at night, then Amandeep’s friends were repeatedly throwing firecrackers at Karthik and his friends, after which Karthik and Prakash tried to convince them, then there was a clash between the two groups.
