The works began in the month of August.
Here, let us tell you that in the month of August this year, meeting the years-long demand of residents of many sectors of Kurukshetra, former Minister of State Subhash Sudha started construction work on five major roads of the sectors. These include the road from Phoenix Chowk to Panchnand Chowk in front of Circuit House, the road from Ayush University to Wisdom School, the road from Power Grid to Jindal town, the road in front of Mahila police station, construction work on the dividing road of Sector 4.8. He had done the work of giving gifts to begin with. But for a few days now people have been worried about the obstacles in the works.
What do the officials say?
When I spoke to Pankaj Setia, DMC of Kurukshetra district about the obstruction in the construction work of these roads, he said that the construction work of this road will be completed soon. Talking about the reasons for obstruction in the construction work on these two main roads, he said sewage work on the road opposite Ayush University is pending, which has now been completed by the HUDA department. Similarly, a portion of the road from Power Grid to Jindal city is under maintenance period, while the estimate for the other portion is nearing. The construction works on both roads will soon be completed.
