Stones thrown at Vande Bharat Express from Dehradun to Anand Vihar
Ghaziabad: The Vande Bharat Express (train no. 22458), which was going from Dehradun to Anand Vihar, was stoned on Wednesday. The incident occurred about 5 kilometers before the station, while on its way to Modinagar from Meerut, when some anti-social elements pelted stones at coaches E1 and C4 of the train. Due to this throwing of stones, the glass of the train broke. However, there was no loss of life or property. FIR has been registered in the matter.
This train has already been a victim of stone pelting in the Modinagar area. According to police reports, this is the fourth time that Vande Bharat Express has been attacked in this area. Similar incidents had previously occurred on October 22 and 27 and again on November 22 and 27. In the month of October, stone-pelting incidents took place near Sikri Kalan and Sona Enclave Colony, while in November stones were pelted at a train near Hanumanpuri and Srinagar Colony.
