Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the new date for the UPPCS preliminary exam. Now this exam will be held at the end of December. Releasing the date, the Commission said that the UPPCS exam will now be conducted on December 22. The Commission has provided this information by publishing a notice on its official website. At the same time, after the announcement of the exam date, the candidates have ended their protest.

In the notice it was written that the Combined State/Higher Subordinate Services Examination (Preliminary) 2024, which was to be held on December 7 and 8, 2024, will now be held in 2 shifts in one day on December 22, 2024. The first shift will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last until 11:30 a.m. and the second shift will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 1,076,004 candidates are expected to appear for this exam.

RO/ARO exam postponed
Yesterday, the UPPSC postponed the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) examination, accepting the demands of the candidates who demonstrated at Prayagraj. Further, the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) preliminary examination was asked to be conducted as per the above pattern. Apart from this, the Commission also announced the formation of a committee for RO/ARO exam, which will identify the problems of the students and resolve them. However, no update regarding the RO/ARO exam date has arrived yet.
