Sonipat: In Haryana’s Sonipat district, a newly married bride ran away from her in-laws’ house the day after her wedding. The husband is now touring the police station. According to information, a day after the wedding in Kharkhoda, Sonipat, the bride abandoned her husband and ran away. He also took valuables from the house.

She forced her mother-in-law and her husband to drink narcotics

She is said to have given toxic substances to her mother-in-law and her husband while drinking tea late at night. After this, the condition of both of them worsened. Both were admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state. All the things were found scattered in the house and valuables were also found missing. The victim’s family has lodged a complaint with the Kharkhoda police station and the police are investigating the matter.

The wedding took place on November 13.

According to information, Manjeet, a resident of Kharkhoda Gurukul Wali Gali, Sonipat, married Pallavi on November 13. Pallavi is a resident of Haridwar, Uttarakhand. At the same time, a case of donating around Rs 1.25 lakh to the bride has also come to light. Manjeet had reached Kharkhoda on November 14 after getting married and the wedding reception was held on November 24, but on the night of November 15, the bride ran away from home with valuables.

The husband and mother-in-law had to be hospitalized

The girlfriend gave Manjeet and his mother toxic substances. At 4:00 in the morning, both were admitted to the Kharkhoda hospital in an unconscious state. When he came home after the situation improved, he found all the household items scattered. Objects are also missing from the house. Currently the phones of the bride and her father are also turned off. The aggrieved party has demanded an impartial investigation into the matter.

Giving information about the case, Sub-Inspector Saurav, posted at Kharkhoda police station, said that he received a complaint that he had married a woman named Pallavi from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, but she eloped the next night of the marriage. A case has been registered based on the complaint.
