Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 96.8 million voters participated in the Lok Sabha elections held in India in 2024. Around 750 candidates of political parties participated in the elections and voting was held in more of 10 lakh polling booths. However, when the results of these elections were known on June 4, they were published in just five hours.
