BJP leader Nitin Gadkari is known for his outspoken statements. In an interview given in Mumbai, he spoke openly about the current situation of the BJP and many important issues.
Gadkari said leaders and workers of different parties continue to join the BJP. He said, ‘The BJP is a workers’ party. New people come for different reasons. It is our responsibility to train them, teach them ideology and turn them into our workers. Our efforts continue. Thousands of workers work hard, but sometimes one worker’s wrong word ruins the hard work of thousands.

Gadkari added: ‘Differences are not a problem in our country, but lack of thinking is. “Convenient politics are not important, but ideological politics are important.”
Sometimes problems arise in the BJP because leaders and workers come from other parties. On this, Gadkari said, ‘As the harvest increases, diseases also increase. There are many crops in BJP which along with good cereals also bring some diseases, so we have to spray pesticides on those diseased crops.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the party had to contend with a disappointing performance in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, considered the BJP’s stronghold. Only Nitin Gadkari could save his seat. After this election defeat, BJP president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah held several meetings with BJP leaders from Maharashtra, but Gadkari was not seen in these meetings.

On this issue, Gadkari said, ‘I have no role in Maharashtra, the leaders here are capable. They don’t need me, but I will be available whenever they need my help.
