The West Bengal government has formed an SIT under the leadership of the Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police to investigate the accounts scam. It is alleged that there has been corruption of accounts worth approximately Rs 1,000 crore and political controversies and accusations and counter-allegations have started in this regard. So far, the Tab scam is spread in around 15 districts of the state. During the investigation, interstate elements were found.

Police are rigorously investigating and arrests are being made. In such a situation, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement on this issue came. Similar incidents have also occurred in Maharashtra and Rajasthan, but we managed to nab this gang. SIT has been formed. Arrests have also been made and those who have not received the money in the account will be paid soon.

Let us tell you that one of the biggest schemes of the West Bengal government for students is “Tarun ke Sapne”. In this scheme, the state government gives money to students in grades 11 and 12 to buy accounts for their studies. Students of classes 11 and 12 are given Rs 10,000 in their bank accounts to buy eyelashes and this time there have been allegations of corruption over the money to buy eyelashes.

The money given to the students disappeared

There are more than 16 lakh students of classes XI and XII across the state. Around Rs 1,600 crore has been spent on this ‘Tarun ke Sapne’ scheme. Many students in various districts of the state did not receive Rs 10,000 from “Tarun ke Sapne” in their bank accounts! So the political uproar has begun. Swapan Mandal, general secretary of Bangiya Education Council, said 16 lakh students have been affected. The government is responsible for this corruption.

The allowance money of 15 girl students of Salar School, Murshidabad, has gone to a fake account in Kishanganj, Bihar. The account amount allocated for classes 10th and 11th in Murshidabad district was returned to some schools, out of which an additional amount of approximately Rs 4 crore and 84 lakh was deposited in the accounts of 4881 students from 17 schools. On the other hand, the tuition fees of 15 girl students of Salar School in Murshidabad have gone to a fake account in Kishanganj, Bihar.

Scam emerged in many districts of the state.

Similarly, money from school students’ accounts has gone missing in Jhargram district. Jhargram district magistrate Sunil Aggarwal said Rs 5 lakh has been stolen from 50 accounts of 11 high schools in the district. According to information, the money of 8 students of Jhargram Ashok Vidyapeeth School has gone missing. Prabhas Chandra Dehuri, acting principal of the school, said the accounts have been identified. There is an account in Jamtara area. This incident took place in a total of 11 schools including Ashok Vidyapeeth, Netaji Adarsh ​​Hindi High School, Rohini CRD High School, Harda High School, Bandhagora High School, Manikpara High School, Dhagri High School and Binpur High School in Jhargram district.

Similarly, accounts of 165 students in 27 schools out of 450 schools in West Midnapore district have been hacked, from where money has been lost from the accounts. District school inspector Swapan Samant said that we have launched an investigation and FIR has also been registered.

Eyelash scam investigation launched and arrest made

One person was arrested from Vaishnav Nagar in Malda for his alleged involvement in the account scam. A person named Hasan Shaikh was arrested by the police from East Burdwan police station. Vaishnav Nagar and East Burdwan district police launched a joint operation and arrested him. He was arrested at his home. This young man owns an internet cafe. According to police sources, evidence of his involvement in the account fraud has been found against this young man.

Eyelash scam chaos

Parliamentary Affairs Minister and senior TMC leader Sovandev Chattopadhyay admitted that an account scam had taken place. He said that there are complaints of irregularities in the financing of the tokens provided by the state government in favor of teachers and students. He also said those who commit corruption should receive strict punishment.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Shramik Bhattacharya said that every time the government intervenes, a scam comes to light. The people of West Bengal are fed up with this and want to get free from this government. There is nothing left in West Bengal where a scam has not taken place.
