(Chamba News)Current society-Chamba. A meeting was organized at Chamba district headquarters to review the development work being carried out under CSR through hydropower projects in Chamba district. General Manager level representatives of various hydropower projects participated in this meeting organized under the chairmanship of Minister of Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development, Jagat Singh Negi.

At the meeting, the amount and work allocated to the CSR of the projects was reviewed. On this occasion, those responsible for the project presented detailed details of the work carried out and the amount spent in recent years.

In the meeting, Jagat Singh Negi instructed the project representatives that instead of doing the work under CSR themselves, they should deposit the prescribed budget money in the concerned departments of the state government and ensure that the work is done by them so that In the future, the quality and monitoring of these works will be guaranteed.

He directed the officials to organize multi-specialty medical examination camps in different parts of the district under CSR.

He directed the project managers to provide employment and self-employment opportunities to the project-affected families and their dependents on a priority basis.

In the meeting, apart from Chamba MLA Neeraj Nayyar, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav, ADM Amit Mehra, AC to DC PP Singh, CEO of Chamera-1, Chamera-2, Chamera- hydropower projects 3 Barasyul under execution under NHPC and NHPC CEO Santosh Kumar was present from the regional office.
