Priority given to implementation after coming to power
Let us tell you that after coming to power for the first time in 2014, Prime Minister Modi had prioritized the implementation of the OROP scheme with an aim to address the major grievances of retired defense personnel. He said that today, our veterans and ex-servicemen have sacrificed their lives to protect the country and the decision to implement OROP is aimed at addressing their long-standing demand and reaffirming the nation’s gratitude towards our heroes.
