This time Pakistan has been selected for the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan is also preparing very quickly for this tournament. But the BCCI has clearly told the ICC that it will not allow Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy. The ICC has also informed the Pakistan Cricket Board about this. However, PCB has asked the ICC to seek reasons in writing from India. Due to this, ICC is yet to release the Champions Trophy schedule. It is believed that the tournament can be played in hybrid mode. Meanwhile, Pakistan had committed such an act, so India had to take immediate action.

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced on the evening of November 14 that the Champions Trophy will arrive in Islamabad on November 14. After this, the trophy will be taken across Pakistan from November 16 to 24. The PCB had provided information on this matter on its social media. Where he has said that the trophy will go to places like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Of these four places, only Mari is part of Pakistan. Apart from this, three other places, Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad, are located in PoK.

India did not like this decision of Pakistan. After which the BCCI raised an objection and the ICC took immediate action on the matter. Now the Champions Trophy tour will not go to PoK. For this, ICC has selected new cities. In which the trophy will tour Islamabad on November 16, Taxila and Khanpur on November 17, Abbottabad on November 18, Muri on November 19, Nathia Gali on November 20 and Karachi from November 22 to 25. After this the trophy will be taken to Afghanistan. This time, no city from PoK is included among the new cities selected by ICC.
