That means Pakistan Cricket Board is ready to make some changes to the tournament schedule. According to the report, now the Pakistan Cricket Board wants Team India to play at least one of their 3 group stage matches in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. This match will be held at the prestigious Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Apart from this, the Pakistan Cricket Board is also willing to accept that Team India can play the remaining group stage matches under the hybrid model. If team India reaches the semi-finals, this match will also be played outside Pakistan. But the Pakistan Cricket Board wants that if the Indian team reaches the final, they will have to come to Pakistan. According to the preliminary schedule, this final match will be played in Lahore. In such a situation, Team India can play its remaining matches in the UAE or Sri Lanka, as seen during the Asia Cup 2023.
BCCI wants hybrid model
