(Panipat News) Panipat. The 14th Chalo Utsav Theater will be held from November 13 to 19 at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PITE), Samalkha. Courtesy of Safidon’s Raas Kala Manch, NSD Rang Mandal and theater artists from different states will present international level plays. Drama based on novels and plays written by famous writers including Munshi Premchand will be performed.
PITE Vice President Rakesh Tayal said that every year Ras Kala Manch holds the Chalo Theater Festival at PITE. This is the fourteenth festival. There is significant cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Haryana Kala Parishad, Kurukshetra. Through the theater festival, citizens of Panipat city and college students are introduced to performing arts.
It is a living art, without repetitions. Ravi Mohan, theater director of Raas Kala Manch, said the theater festival will be inaugurated on November 13 with the play Mai Ri Ka Se Kahoon. After this, the play Babu Ji on November 14, Laila Majnu on November 15, Last House of Bandh Gali on November 16, Tender of Taj Mahal on November 17, Kahan Kahani Kahan on November 18 and Daadaran will be staged. on November 19. Dean Dr BB Sharma said that on November 16, state Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda will be the chief guest. On November 17, the play ‘Tender of Taj Mahal’ will be directed by NSD director Chittaranjan Tripathi. He himself also plays an important role in this drama.
