In Jaipur, a dog chased away a leopard that had entered a populated area to hunt. There was a fierce fight between the leopard and the dog for a long time but the dog did not give up. Although the domestic animal was injured in the fight, it overpowered the wild leopard to such an extent that the leopard finally had to flee.
This entire incident was recorded on CCTV, which everyone is shocked to see. The incident took place in Manbagh in Jaisinghpura Khor area where a leopard entered the Bheruji temple complex around 4.15 am last Friday. The priest’s family lives in the temple itself. He has had a pitbull dog to watch the house.
The leopard had to run back.
As soon as the leopard arrived, he first pounced on the pitbull, but in response the pitbull also fought with him. They both fought for a long time and then the dog threw the leopard face down on the ground. After this, in just 10 seconds the leopard saved its life and ran back towards the forest.
The dog did not give up.
Although the brave pit bull who risked his life was injured, he also did not give up until the end. Yogesh Puri, who lives on the temple premises, said that sometimes leopards come from the forest to populated areas and there has also been movement around the temple. Keeping this in mind, CCTV cameras were installed at the premises.
Pitbull injured in leopard attack
To track the leopard’s movement, he bought a pit bull and when he heard the dog barking in the early hours of Friday, he saw that the pit bull was injured. CCTV footage showing the panther was then scanned, after which people became scared.
