The winter session of Parliament will begin on Monday. Recently, Assembly elections have been held in two states of the country. In Maharashtra, the BJP-led NDA alliance won a landslide victory, while in Jharkhand the Hemant Soren-led JMM alliance won. In such a situation, BJP MPs will be present in Parliament with new enthusiasm. However, the opposition has demanded a debate in Parliament on the Adani issue, which is likely to cause an uproar.

As is tradition, an all-party meeting was organized on Sunday on the eve of the winter session of Parliament. 42 leaders of 30 parties participated in the meeting chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Opposition parties demanded a debate in Parliament on the allegations in the United States against the Adani Group. At the same time, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju clarified that matters raised in both Houses will be decided by their authorized committees with the consent of the respective President.
