Local people recovered the package from the field and informed the army and police. Even before the arrival of the army, police at Bamiyal, an outpost under the command of Narot Jaimal Singh, detained the smuggled parcel and took it to the police station. At the same time, security agencies continue searching.

People claimed that the police arrived at the scene, put the packages in their pockets and left. However, the smugglers who collected the packages of heroin were still roaming around the town. People have also raised slogans against the Mudarabad district police administration. People said that drug trafficking and other types of smuggling are carried out in the border area with the connivance of the police. Because the police did not answer any questions to anyone about the package and left with the package.
They warn about terrorist infiltration
It may be noted that an alert was recently issued to security agencies regarding the infiltration of terrorists into Pathankot. Information has been received that many terrorists are active in the Pakistani area along the Pathankot border and are planning to infiltrate Pathankot. After receiving this information, security agencies prepared themselves and a large-scale investigation campaign was carried out.
