Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Brazil to participate in the G20 summit. The XIX G20 Summit will be organized in Rio de Janeiro on November 18 and 19. This is the second stop of Prime Minister Modi’s five-day visit to three countries.
Upon arriving in Brazil, Prime Minister Modi posted on a social media platform that he is looking forward to meeting many world leaders at the G20 summit.
When Prime Minister Modi arrived in Brazil, people from the country’s Indian community welcomed him warmly. He was welcomed amidst Vedic chants and Indian classical music.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Nigeria
This visit of Prime Minister Modi to Brazil is important in many ways because last year India hosted the G20 Summit. After Prime Minister Modi’s arrival in Brazil, the Ministry of External Affairs published that Prime Minister Modi arrived in Rio de Janeiro for the G20 Summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier visited Nigeria. He held bilateral talks with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu here and interacted with the Indian community. Prime Minister Modi arrived in the Nigerian capital on Sunday morning on his first visit to the West African country after a gap of 17 years. After concluding his visit, PM Modi posted on X and said thanks to Nigeria for the productive visit. This will provide strength and enthusiasm to the friendship between India and Nigeria.
Chinese President Xi Jinping also arrived in Brazil
Chinese President Xi Jinping also arrived in Brazil to participate in the G20 summit. He arrived in Rio de Janeiro at the invitation of Brazilian President Lula da Silva. Upon arriving at the airport, Jinping was warmly welcomed. Xi Jinping arrived in Brazil from Peru. He participated in the 31st APEC Economic Leaders Summit in Lima, capital of Peru.
