Many important decisions were taken at the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. The meeting approved continuation of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), under which the scope of work has been expanded and a budget of Rs 2,750 crore has been allocated till March 31, 2028. Apart from this, it was gave approval to start One Nation, One Subscription and the National Organic Farming Mission.

Apart from this, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Modi, gave its approval to the PAN 2.0 project of the Income Tax Department. In this sense, a technology-based change in taxpayer registration services will be possible. The PAN 2.0 project will cost Rs 1,435 crore. The PAN 2.0 project allows technological transformation in taxpayer registration services.

One nation, one approved subscription

Atal Innovation Mission approved

The Cabinet approved the continuation of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), under which the scope of work has been increased and a budget of Rs 2,750 crore has been allocated for the period up to March 31, 2028. Apart from innovation, The government has also made large investments in the energy sector, including many hydroelectric projects.
