PM should prove allegations against Karnataka, I will quit politics – CM Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, who was in the battle of Maharashtra, reached Solapur. While addressing the public meeting in Solapur, CM fiercely attacked PM Modi. He said if Prime Minister Modi proves his allegations against the Congress in Karnataka, I will retire from politics.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said at a meeting in Maharashtra that today states like Himachal Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka have become ATMs of the Congress royal family. People say that these days the collection in Karnataka has doubled in the name of elections in Maharashtra.

CM Siddaramaiah challenged PM

CM Siddaramaiah addressed a public meeting in Solapur on Saturday in the interest of Mahavikas Aghadi. The CM responded to PM Modi and said: Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes, tells white lies and leaves. If you can prove your accusations, I will announce my retirement from politics. He also said, why doesn’t Prime Minister Modi accept this challenge of mine? What are they afraid of?

CM Siddaramaiah said, Prime Minister Modi said that welfare guarantees will ruin the economy, but the BJP has announced that it will give similar guarantees in the Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh elections. He further asked why PM Modi resorts to white lies. The Modi government has said what its priorities are. He waived loan of 16 million rupees from the rich, without giving up even a single rupee to the poor farmers.

Maharashtra targets BJP

CM Siddaramaiah responded to PM Modi’s statement in Karnataka and said, let the Maharashtra BJP leaders check the facts and if they can prove me wrong, I will retire from politics. He also said, but if I am right, will you apologize to the people of Maharashtra and announce your retirement from politics?

Karnataka CM said: We have decided to file a case against Maharashtra BJP for publishing fake advertisements. Karnataka pays a central tax of Rs 4.5 lakh crore annually and receives only Rs 60,000 crore in return.

“Karnataka government fulfilled its guarantee”

Prime Minister Modi had said that the Karnataka government cannot fulfill the promises made to the people. In response to this, CM Siddaramaiah said, the Karnataka government has implemented five of its five guarantees. Women have benefited from the state government’s Shakti Scheme. He also appealed to the people of Maharashtra to vote for the interests of Maha Vikas Aghadi. Voting will be held in 288 seats in Maharashtra in a single phase on November 20. After this, the results will be declared on November 23.

What did PM Modi say?

Prime Minister Modi had accused Congress by posting name X on social media. He had said that instead of worrying about development in Karnataka, Congress is busy with internal party politics and looting. Not only this, but they are also going to retire existing systems. He also said that the Congress government is extorting money from Karnataka for the Maharashtra elections.
