New Delhi. Many revolutionary laws have been made and implemented in India through PIL. In which MP membership cancellation. Laws such as eviction from former prime ministers’ homes, the midday meal scheme and the right to education are included.
Once again, a political storm has started in the country through the PIL and none other than Rahul Gandhi has fallen under its influence. Questions have been raised over Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship and the court’s position on what to do will become clear on December 19.
The central government told the court that it is studying the matter.
Has the central government told the Allahabad High Court that it is considering whether Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship should be cancelled? Many PILs related to Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship have been filed. In which Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy also filed a petition in the Delhi High Court regarding the citizenship of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Last month, Vignesh appeared before the Delhi High Court alleging that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had launched an investigation into a PIL filed in the Allahabad High Court in connection with Gandhi’s alleged British citizenship. After Subramanian Swamy’s PIL, S. Vignesh Shishir has filed a representation and complaint with the Ministry of Home Affairs. Not only this, the CBI is already investigating his citizenship. Now, a division bench comprising Justice Atau Rehman Masoodi and Justice Subhash Vidyarthi has sought details after Deputy Attorney General Suryabhan Pandey informed the court and fixed the next hearing of the case on December 19.
BJP has already made many accusations.
There have been attempts to implicate him in the issue of DLF, National Herald etc. but in the past he was declared innocent of the allegations made by the BJP, but this time the attack is the most dangerous and the issue concerns his citizenship . . Before this, the BJP had already made political gains by raising the issue of Sonia Gandhi’s citizenship. Now, if Rahul’s citizenship is lost, then the game itself will be over.
The question of citizenship became a problem
Rahul Gandhi’s latest problem now is his citizenship. Rahul Gandhi will now have to prove that he is an Indian citizen. It is a big question whether Rahul Gandhi will be able to save his citizenship because the attack on Rahul Gandhi continues from all sides. If anyone can fight politically with the BJP today, it is only Rahul Gandhi. After Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul’s stature in politics has become equal to that of Prime Minister Modi and he is becoming a constant challenge for the BJP.
Communication with the British government: Vignesh Shishir
BJP worker S. Vignesh Shishir hopes the Indian government will soon revoke Rahul Gandhi’s Indian citizenship. Because this time there has been direct communication with the British government. It has been confirmed that Rahul Gandhi’s name is registered in the citizenship records of Great Britain. We have submitted these documents before the Allahabad High Court. Apart from this, we also have some confidential evidence which we have submitted before the court which makes it clear that Rahul Gandhi is a British citizen. Therefore, we hope that his Indian citizenship will be cancelled. He said there is no law in India that allows dual citizenship. If a person acquires citizenship of any other country, Indian citizenship is cancelled. As per the Indian Constitution and the Citizenship Act, 1955, it is clear that if a person acquires citizenship of another country, his Indian citizenship will be cancelled.
