Proposal for projects worth crores of rupees for Ayodhya submitted to Chief Minister

Ayodhya. During the meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi proposed projects worth crores of rupees in the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation area. The mayor met the Chief Minister on November 23. The proposal includes construction of roads connected to Rampath along with decorative lights and heritage posts and construction of Sotiya drain at Ayodhya Dham.
With the installation of decorative lights and heritage posts at major places under the Municipal Corporation limits, devotees coming to Ramnagari will get an idea of ​​the developed image of the place. With the construction of roads connected to Rampath, the traffic system will improve. Construction of Sotiya drain in Ayodhya Dham will alleviate waterlogging.
Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi said that proper development plans of Ayodhya were discussed during the meeting with the Chief Minister. During this period, the Municipal Corporation spent Rs 84.7 million for installation of decorative lights and heritage posts in major areas of Ayodhya border, Rs 29.89 million for construction of Sotiya drain to eliminate waterlogging and drainage in Ayodhya. Dham and for construction of adjacent roads after construction of Rampath, approval and allocation of project funds worth Rs 26.71 crore was sought.
He said that during the meeting, issues related to all-round development of Ayodhya were discussed in detail. Along with this, a proposal of Rs 9.66 crore has been submitted and funds have been requested to be allocated to provide excellent services to the devotees coming to Ayodhya in view of the Kumbh Mela organized at Prayagraj. This includes temporary migration, tent cities, cleaning and industrial work. Municipal commissioner Santosh Kumar Sharma was present during the meeting with the CM.
