Punjab Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Kapurthala: The local police managed to arrest six accused, solving the mystery of the murder of a BJP leader on Thursday night. Along with this, the police have also revealed the motives behind the murder. Know that on Thursday night in Sultanpur Lodhi, the BJYM block chief was attacked and killed with sharp weapons when he was returning from a program with two of his colleagues. The three were riding bicycles when the attack occurred. The accused carried out a deadly attack on the three in which BJP leader Honey was killed while his associates Ajay Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Sayyadan and Amanpreet Singh, a resident of Mohalla Pandori, were injured.

The police arrested these accused
SSP Vatsala Gupta said that the arrested accused are Kartik alias Kai, Gautam, Naveen, all residents of Mohalla Sayyedan, Gagan alias Baba, resident of Mohalla Jwala Singh Nagar and Karan, resident of Mohalla Pandori Hat Sahib. They had attacked BJYM block chief Honey Kumar alias Nannu and his friends with weapons on the night of November 21, around 3:30 pm. The SSP said Honey was murdered over rivalry. Honey also had a clash with the accused last month over the Ramlila organisation. The case is registered at Sultanpur Lodhi police station.
