Preliminary investigations have revealed that the bullet was fired after an altercation at a birthday party, but the police are investigating whether the young man was called from his home due to some rivalry, taking into account other aspects of the case.
The deceased young man has been identified as Gaggu. According to information received from the deceased’s relatives, Gaggu had slept after dinner last night. After a while, some young people from the village had called Gaggu from his house with the intention of cutting the birthday cake. When Gaggu approached the young man to cut the birthday cake, he was shot dead.

The incident came to light when the young man did not return home.
According to relatives, when Gaggu did not return until late at night, they tried to contact him through his mobile phone. When they didn’t get a response, they went to look for him, suspecting something strange. At three in the morning a villager saw a body soaked in blood. When the family arrived at the scene, they discovered that the body was that of their son Gaggu. The young man worked in agriculture with his father.

Young man shot dead in Jalandhar
Last night, a young man was shot dead over gambling money in a busy area of Jalandhar, while another was seriously injured. The police have registered the case based on the statement of the deceased’s family members and have started investigating the matter. The deceased has been identified as a young man named Badshah, a resident of Ali Mohalla.
