Chandigarh (Aaj Samaj)Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President and Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today inaugurated several major development projects worth crores of rupees in Sunam and Cheema, including the newly constructed tehsil complex, a sports stadium and a bridge . These development projects, designed to strengthen local infrastructure and improve people’s quality of life, reflect the government’s commitment to public service. Arora started the day by paying homage at Shaheed Udham Singh’s birthplace in Sunam and Sant Baba Atar Singh Ji in Cheema.
After this, he participated in the inauguration ceremony of the holy temple being built by Shri Haridas Nikunj Bihari Seva Samiti, Sunam. He expressed his commitment to achieve this and appreciated the efforts of the Seva Samiti. The project included dedication to the public of the Tehsil Complex at Cheema, built at a cost of Rs 4.31 crore.
The foundation stone of a new sports stadium was laid in Cheema, to be built at a cost of Rs 1.38 crore and to improve connectivity in the area, a bridge was inaugurated on Cheema-Tolawal Road, built at a cost of 2.34 rupees. crore and at a cost of Rs 1.88 crore ITI Sunam sports stadium was inaugurated.
He thanked AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Agwant Mann for handing over the responsibility of party president in Punjab and said that the AAP government in Punjab has done encouraging work in the last two and a half years . He said that many infrastructure related problems including the network problem have been resolved in half a year to resolve the problems of the people of Sunam and Cheema. There will be a lot of good and bad work.
