Pawan Kumar Hans, newly appointed Vice-Chairman of Punjab Khadi and Village Industries Board, assumed charge in the presence of Cabinet Minister Mahinder Agat in Chandigarh today. Cabinet Minister Mahinder Agat congratulated Vice President Pawan Kumar Hans and expressed hope that under his leadership the Board would reach new heights. • Agat assured the vice president of his full support in all his endeavors.
After taking charge, Vice President Hans thanked Chief Minister Agwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Mahinder Agat and said he will discharge his responsibility with complete honesty and devotion. He said Khadi Board is an important institution that is working to create employment opportunities, especially in rural areas. He also said that the Board will do everything possible to create new employment opportunities for the youth.
Likewise, special emphasis will be placed on making the functioning of the Council more transparent and efficient. On this occasion, senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders Ajay Kaul, Kala Pradhan, Baba Raj Kumar, besides Sudarshan, Dharminder Kumar, Sunny Hans, Aryan, Ishu Gill and officials of Punjab Khadi and Village Industries Board were present.
