Chandigarh / New Delhi. (Aaj Samaj) The Punjab Pavilion, which received high appreciation from the audience during the India International Trade Fair 2024 held here at Pragati Maidan, was awarded two special recognition medals for excellent presentation of the theme and excellent performance. The Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), which organized the fair, presented both medals to PSIEC officials in a late afternoon ceremony on the last day of the fair. This year the theme of the fair was Vikas Bharat 2047.

It should be noted that this fair was organized from November 14 to 27, in which various states installed pavilions to show their developments and products. Punjab Pavilion Administrator Davinderpal Singh and Deputy Administrator Gurpreet Singh said that it is a matter of pride for the state that Punjab Pavilion bagged two medals in different categories. He said that during the fair, not only people coming from Punjab but also people from other states of India showed great interest in the stalls set up by various departments at the pavilion.

Under the leadership of Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund and direction of PSIEC Chairman Dalveer Singh, Punjab Small Industries and Exports organized the exhibition to showcase the state’s progressive reach in sectors like industry, agriculture , crafts, fashion and education through the pavilion, said Corporation, Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Tejveer Singh, DPS. Concerted efforts were made under the leadership of Kharbanda (CEO Invest Punjab), Varinder Kumar Sharma (MD), Harjeet Singh Sandhu (AMD) and CEO Sukhdeep Singh Sidhu.
