Bombay There are just 18 hours left for the Maharashtra Assembly poll and an uproar has spread in the Mahayuti family over the face of the Chief Minister’s office. In fact, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav hinted that there may be a new chief ministerial face similar to Madhya Pradesh here too. His statement has created quite a stir in Maharashtra politics. It is noteworthy that due to voting in Maharashtra yesterday and the day before yesterday, this kind of formula widened the gap between Ajit Pawar, Eknath Shinde and Fadnavis. Political analysts also term this statement as a morale-breaking statement.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who came to campaign for Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Atul Bhatkhalkar from Kandiwali assembly constituency, made a statement at the meeting that whoever the alliance wants will become in CM. His statement has created immense anger in the Mahayuti family. The entry of a new face in place of Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar and Fadnavis has created a situation of confusion and it is from here that the uproar started among the people of Maharashtra even before the voting began. Mahavikas Aghadi seems to benefit directly from this Mahayuti situation. In those places where the Christian and Muslim NCP broke away from Sharad Pawar and supported Ajit Pawar’s NCP, it has returned to Sharad Pawar.

Frightened by defeat, BJP carried out attack: Deshmukh

Stones were pelted at former home minister and NCP Sharad Pawar faction leader Anil Deshmukh’s car in Katol, Nagpur. Anil Deshmukh was injured in this attack. He has been admitted to a hospital in Katol. Anil Deshmukh accused BJP workers of attack. The video of the incident has also been released by the Sharad Pawar faction NCP. This attack has created a stir in political circles. According to information, elections are approaching in Katol constituency. Anil Deshmukh had gone to Narkhed on Monday to campaign for NCP candidate Salil Deshmukh. After the meeting here, Deshmukh started returning to Katol by car. His car slowed down to the speed limit near Belphata on Jalalkheda Road. Taking advantage of this, three or four men arrived there with a cloth over their faces. They threw stones at the car.

This was the situation in Madhya Pradesh

The situation in Maharashtra was also similar to that of Madhya Pradesh. There were also many aspirants for the CM post there and all of them were superior to each other. There, the Bharatiya Janata Party declared Mohan Yadav as Chief Minister. This formula has also been worked on in Uttar Pradesh and Yogi was made Chief Minister, leaving behind Keshav Prasad Maurya, Manoj Sinha.

seating mathematics

In the grand alliance, the Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting a maximum of 148 seats. Ajit Pawar’s NCP won 53 seats and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena is contesting 80 seats. RPI Athawale, Yuva Swabhiman Party, Rashtriya Samaj Paksha and Janasurajya Paksha are also part of the Mahayuti and are contesting one seat each. Ajit Pawar wants him to become CM if the Mahayuti government is formed. While Eknath Shinde says elections are being held in his face. Devendra Fadnavis himself has been the Chief Minister. In such a situation, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav had reached Kandiwali to campaign and there he reminded the BJP of the formula that had happened in Madhya Pradesh.

Ajit asks for votes by calling himself CM face

In fact, before the elections, BJP strategists took it for granted that Ajit Pawar would make a dent in the Muslim and Christian votes. But it didn’t happen. As the election progressed, the cards were opened and it became clear that things did not go as expected. It is noteworthy that Ajit Pawar’s NCP is also contesting in the same seats where Sharad Pawar is contesting. Ajit Pawar’s base vote is also Muslim, Christian and so is Sharad Pawar. Wherever Ajit Pawar goes to campaign, he seeks votes by calling himself the possible face of the Chief Minister. Political experts say the BJP made a mistake by playing the unconditional Hindutva card and both Muslim and Christian voters returned to NCP Shadar Pawar and the Congress. This means that the formula given by the BJP to steal votes has failed. BJP leaders themselves are admitting that the Mahayuti rift has now become clearly visible to the common people and that this matter has gone out of bounds.
