Jalalpur, Ambedkar Nagar. Rajgir was killed by lightning while working at home. There was chaos among family members upon news of the death. The police reached the spot after receiving the information, took possession of the body and sent it for autopsy. As soon as the body reached the village, the villagers kept it on Akbarpur Shahganj Road, leaving the police administration helpless. The Tehsildar who reached the spot, after much effort, extinguished the traffic jam and cleared it. The case is from Sultanpur Khurd village in Malipur police station area. Guddu Rajbhar, a resident of the village, worked as a bricklayer and had gone to work at Banshi Rajbhar’s house in the village on Wednesday morning. While working where there were high voltage wires from the top of the house, he was suddenly struck by lightning. So he died on the spot. The deceased’s father had died a few years ago and was the sole breadwinner for his family. He has three daughters. This incident has created chaos in the entire town and family. Malipur police reached the spot after receiving information, took possession of the body and sent it for autopsy. After the death, the electricity department also reached the spot and removed the high tension cable after Rajgir’s death. According to people, the owner complained several times to have the cable that ran over the house removed, but the department paid no attention. and as soon as Rajgir died, the department rushed to remove the cable. After the autopsy, when the body reached the village, the villagers and their relatives blocked the Shahganj Akbarpur road with their demands. Due to which the police administration started getting frustrated and despite much persuasion, the police failed to resolve the traffic jam. Tehsildar Padmesh Srivastava, who came to the information, after persuading them for a long time and assuring them of his demands, got the traffic jam cleared. This traffic jam continued for almost an hour. Malipur Police Station Chairman Prabha Kant Tiwari was present with his team on the occasion.
