(Jind News) Jind. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a symposium on the 189th birth anniversary of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi at Supreme Higher Secondary School. In which director Satyendra Tripathi was the chief guest. Director Satyendra Tripathi said that in India the war of 1857 is considered the country’s first war of independence. Before this, the independence movement gave India many patriotic heroes, which created public sentiment in the country against the British. Which served as the seed for the future fight for independence. One of these brave warriors was Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. At that time there were many restrictions for women in India.

A queen had shocked the entire world by becoming the bravest warrior, but historical documents show that not only the queen’s bravery but also her beauty was shocking. Vashishtha Guest State ABVP Co-Minister Raman Sharma said that Rani Lakshmibai has been a great heroine of India’s freedom struggle, whose bravery and courage are mentioned from time to time even today. Rani Lakshmi Bai never agreed to bow down to British rule and continued to fight with the British till her last breath to protect Jhansi.

What even today shows the world the path of women’s empowerment. Those revolutionary women who are still alive among the brave women of India under the name of Rani of Jhansi. ABVP district coordinator Parminder Saini said Rani Laxmibai was interested in martial arts and arts since childhood. He learned arts such as horse riding and sword fighting. Rani Lakshmibai killed 61 British. This conflict lasted from June 6 to 8, 1857.

In which Captain Dunlop, Lieutenant Taylor and Captain Gordon were killed. The Captain had surrendered to the rebels along with the remaining British soldiers. ABVP department coordinator Rohan Saini, city minister Prateek Sharma, Shobha Jangra and the school management were present on this occasion.
