Telangana CM Revanth Reddy
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government is completing one year in Telangana. This time, the government will organize many types of programs across the state. Officials have been directed to make massive preparations for the first anniversary celebration of the Congress government from December 1 to 9.
All ministries should submit progress reports
During a meeting with ministers and officials on Saturday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asked the ministers to present the work progress report of their respective departments. In addition, instructions have been given to hold a press conference and tell about future plans.
The statue will be inaugurated at the secretariat.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate a statue of ‘Telangana Thalli’ (Mother) at the secretariat complex on December 9 (coinciding with Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s birthday). Around one lakh women from across the state will be invited for this programme.
Appointment letters will be distributed among the young people
A public meeting of unemployed youth will be held in Peddapalli district on December 4 as part of the celebrations. Appointment letters will be given to 9,000 young people recently recruited for government jobs at the venue.
Farmers’ conference to be organized
At the same time, ‘Kisan Sammelan’ will be organized in Mahabubnagar on November 30 this month. CM Reddy also directed that arrangements be made to display ‘Glory of Telangana’ from December 7 to 9 at Tank Bund and Necklace Road around the Secretariat and Hussain Sagar Lake.
Reddy assumed power on December 7
He suggested that various events, including concerts, air shows and drone shows, be organized on the occasion to highlight the culture and art forms of Telangana. The Congress government assumed power on December 7 last year after winning the assembly elections.
