Strict action will now be taken against those manufacturing reels while near railway stations and trains across the country. The Railway Board has asked officials in all its zones to register cases against coil manufacturers if they pose a threat to the safety of train operation or cause inconvenience to coaches and passengers on railway premises.
This order by the Railway Board came after cases where people endangered railway safety by recording stunt videos on railway tracks and moving trains with their mobile phones. Recently, these videos are also shared a lot on social media.
Crossing all boundaries of reel manufacturing
According to a report in PTI language, a senior Railway Board official said that people have crossed all limits in manufacturing reels. They not only risk their lives but also endanger the safety of hundreds of railway passengers by placing objects on train tracks or performing life-threatening stunts while driving vehicles on a moving train.

The officer also said that in the video that went viral on social media, people were seen getting very close to the train while taking selfies and approaching the track, without understanding how far a train can travel in a short time and this because he lost his life after being hit by a train.
According to Railway Board officials, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have been asked to adopt a no-leniency policy against people manufacturing reels for violating norms.
